The people that are meant for you – Poem № 3

The people who are meant for you
Are not the ones who shame you
They’re not the ones who blame you
Who make you feel like they do
Not understand what’s wrong with you
You see, these people play you
Make you believe that you do
The things that they would not do

The people who are meant for thou
Are not the ones who’d have a cow
When you express your thoughts aloud
The pain in which your heart allows
Compassion it becomes you
And sometimes people use you
Your kindness to abuse you

I don’t believe there’s bad or good
With people its “misunderstood”
And sometimes people feel so mean
They’re jealous, envious and green
But to be loved is to be seen
And they don’t have to see you
It is a gift to know you
I hope this poem shows you

That trauma has a funny way
The pain inflicted grows you
The scientists, and therapists say post-traumatic growth
When Healing’s like an oath
Thats what we need the most
To deeply honor our highest-self
Our inner-sovereign must build wealth
Each donation looks like respect
Your heart and soul, you must protect

The people who are meant for you
Your wellbeing, they won’t neglect.
