I Don’t want to talk about people
For “Love” is my church and my steeple
There’s not much to say
We’re finding our way
Obsessing turns us into sheep-le

I don’t want to talk about issues
To drown in a mess of my tissues
The problems don’t end
Simply cannot spend
My worrying cycle? Changed and reissued.

Not happy, if I must confess
For a while now, something I’ll profess

I may just need less
Which means much less stress
Less drama
Less chaos
Less mess

I want to simplify my life

Take moments that mute out the strife
Life is hard enough
To just take on more stuff
As a daughter, a mother, and wife

Want to be a much better friend
To myself, take a moment to spend
Time caring for me, please just wait and see
The pleasures of letting things be
